The terms governing paid leaderboard placements on Overtop
What we sell
Overtop (overtop.lol) sells paid online advertising/listing placements on a public leaderboard. When you pay, the amount you pay is added to the cumulative total of the listing you selected, and the listing's public rank is recalculated from that total. Ranking is deterministic and based solely on cumulative confirmed payments.
There are no cash prizes, payouts, wagering, stored value, or redistribution of customer funds. This is not a contest, lottery, or game of chance.
Acceptance
By making a payment or using this website you agree to these Terms, our Rules, and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old to make a payment.
The service
- Payment purchases an immediate advertising/listing service — the addition of your paid amount to a listing's cumulative total — not permanent ownership of a ranking position.
- A rank may change immediately after purchase if another listing receives a larger cumulative payment. Positions are not reserved at any point before or after payment.
- The service does not guarantee impressions, clicks, leads, sales, revenue, or return on investment. Click counts shown on the leaderboard are informational only.
- Amounts displayed on the leaderboard represent cumulative qualifying payments for each listing.
- Paying for a listing does not grant the payer the right to edit, redirect, or delete that listing.
Submissions and moderation
You may only submit URLs and X handles that you have the right to promote or that are publicly available product/profile pages. We may suspend or remove any listing that is fraudulent, unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or that links to malware, phishing, or other prohibited content, at our sole discretion and without refund.
Payments, refunds, and disputes
- All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store card data.
- Purchases are final, except where required by applicable law, in cases of duplicate or erroneous charges, or a service failure covered by these Terms.
- If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with a statutory withdrawal right, you expressly request immediate performance of the service (the immediate addition of your payment to the listing total) and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
- A refunded payment or a payment dispute resolved against us reverses the corresponding ranking contribution.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the transaction giving rise to the claim.
Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
